Darrell & Jackie moved to Sanquhar in December 2020 to begin a new life despite the global pandemic.
Darrell has worked in several occupations. After 20 years in teaching, he retrained as a journalist and co edited the RAF Museum magazine, RADAR for a while. More recently he was Lead Tour Host for Jaguar Land Rover Experience Solihull, where he developed new exhibition material and delivered off road driver instruction.
Currently he works part time as an Assistant Registrar at Gretna Registration Office while he continues to develop Nithsdale Stories & Wheels.
Jackie has worked in industry but recently studied full time as a mature student to receive a Degree in Animal Science. Currently she divides her time between elderly care work and Nithsdale Wedding Cars.
